Erasmus +Traineeships

Dear Students of the Medical University of Lodz,

We are pleased to announce that in January 2026, new recruitment for traineeships under the Erasmus+ program will begin, including short-term BIP (Blended Intensive Programs) trips – trips within the framework of studies.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain international professional and research experience, develop intercultural competences, and establish valuable contacts with participants and researchers from other universities around the world.

Don’t miss your chance to develop and embark on an international adventure with the Erasmus+ program!

Students and doctoral candidates most often search for internship/traineeship opportunities online. You can use https://erasmusintern.org/ or other search engines, specifying the field of study and skills you wish to develop, as well as, for example, the country you plan to visit. When inquiring about internship opportunities, it’s worth noting that students and doctoral candidates at UMED can apply for an internship under the Erasmus+ program, which includes the possibility of receiving financial support from the EU.

Search and compare verified student accommodation easily:

The internship is available from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027.

NOTE: Before participating in the recruitment process, any student or doctoral candidate interested in an internship under the Erasmus+ program should first familiarize themselves with the recruitment requirements, which are described in the Erasmus+ 2025/2026 Internship Regulations

BIP – Blended Intensive Programme

Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) are short-term, intensive international mobility programs that combine online classes (virtual component) with a short period of on-site study at a partner university. Participating in the program is an excellent opportunity to develop research, teaching, and intercultural competencies, as well as to establish valuable academic contacts.

The Medical University of Łódź will fund BIP program trips lasting no longer than 14 days.

Mobility can only be carried out at the institution organizing the BIP and should correspond to the field of study pursued. Available only for students traveling to program countries.

Students can express their interest in participating at least two months before departure. However, the awarding of a scholarship will depend on available funds.
